   We are delighted to invite you to take part in a very special milestone—the 10th Simply Wedding Awards, Cornwall’s only wedding awards judged entirely by you, the Brides and Grooms.

   These awards are built on genuine experiences, using the comments, recommendations, and scores submitted by couples who have truly lived their wedding day. Your voice matters—and it helps celebrate the suppliers who go above and beyond to make weddings in Cornwall simply unforgettable.

   Voting Information

   • Voting opens: 16th December 2025

   • Voting closes: 30th September 2026

   • Finalists announced: By 4th October 2026

   • Awards Presentation: 21st November 2026
     (Venue to be confirmed)

   All votes must relate to weddings that took place between 1st January 2024 and 30th September 2026.

   Any votes previously submitted that fall within these dates will automatically carry over—there’s no need to resubmit or contact couples who have already voted. Duplicate votes for the same supplier will be counted once.

   Please note, we are no longer able to accept votes from couples who are yet to have their wedding day. Only completed weddings within the qualifying dates will be eligible.

Simply Wedding Awards – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

• All participating businesses must operate within Cornwall and provide wedding-related services.

• Voting is open only to couples who received services between 1st January 2024 and 30th September 2026.

• Votes submitted outside of these dates will not be counted.

• Votes from couples who are yet to have their wedding day will not be accepted.

Voting & Data Protection

• Businesses will receive confirmation of the names of individuals who voted for them.

• In line with data protection regulations, no additional personal information will be shared.

• Following the awards, businesses will receive a copy of submitted comments, presented in an anonymous format.

Scoring & Finalist Criteria

• Each business will receive a quantitative score, calculated by dividing the total score received by the number of valid votes.

• A minimum of six (6) valid votes is required for a business to be considered for the finalist stage.

• Duplicate votes for the same business from the same couple will be counted once.

Judging Process

• By entering the awards, businesses agree to participate in the judges’ mystery shopping process where applicable.

• Mystery shopping may include email, telephone, or online enquiries and will be conducted fairly and consistently.

• All judging is carried out independently and based on voting feedback, scores, and judging criteria.

Business Responsibility

• Businesses progressing to the finalist stage confirm that they are fully qualified, insured, and legally compliant to offer their services.

• Businesses must agree to be included in promotional material related to the awards, including (but not limited to) websites, social media, and press releases.

General Conditions

• Simply Weddings reserves the right to disqualify any business found to be providing false information or attempting to influence votes unfairly.

• Simply Weddings reserves the right to amend the awards process, categories, or timelines where necessary, with reasonable notice.

• The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding final results.
