Simply Weddings @ A Country Photoshoot

Welcome to our first ever blog AND our first ever Simply shoot! And what a way to kick it off!

As you may know our first event is Simply Weddings @ A Country Fayre, so to complement this amazing event we decided to do our photo shoot. We wanted to show that even with elements of the traditional you can still make your special day very much to your own taste and personality.

To use local suppliers is very important to us, and we made a point to source local people to help with the shoot.

The theme and mood board was Simple (obviously) Relaxed and Fun. The brief was soft colours, to suit the summer time, romantic flowing dresses and hair styles to complement... and Wellies with Denim. Why? Because we could and look how brilliantly it came out!

The venue was supplied from our very own Jon and Lynsey from Sugar Coating. They own a beautiful home settled in amongst a babbling brook , woodlands and gorgeous meadows.

The photography was by the very talented Janssen, Dominique and Katie from Cruz Photography. Simply’s in house Photographer. With the teams award winning style the images capture the beauty of our wonderful countryside and of course, our Simply Stunning models.

For Hair and Makeup we aimed for something very fresh and natural. A soft elegant up do and a very boho long wavy down do, was created by the final Simply team member Andrea from Locks and Lashes.

The look was finished perfectly by the very clever and talented Verity James. Verity highlighted the models features using soft peaches and pinks to create an amazing natural look.

The flowers were provided by Josie from Bohemian Flowers. Josie made the two bouquets, and the head garlands.  Josie adapted our mood board to create two very different types of bouquets, but both really worked very well with the theme.

Our stunning brides, Alice and Becky did an amazing job. And I think we all agree that Alice’s little girl Isabelle and Janssen and Dominique’s little boy Myles are the cutest things we ever did see!!!

To say the least we had a lot of fun, which is very much why and how Simply Weddings works.

May this be the very first of many, many more!

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?
